Voorhis School is a PBIS school. PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports and it is a method that allows our school to create a predictable system of rules and procedures that provides structure for all students. The goal of PBIS at Voorhis is to ensure each student:
1) develops social skills
2) prevents behavior problems,
3) stays academically engaged,
4) displays positive behavior,
5) reaches academic success.
